Meet The Team

Leaping Lotus was started by Lina, a wellness educator for over 14 years. Her passion is to empower her clients to find their innate desire for balance and lasting lifestyle change. She has worked in various fitness and medical settings, bridging the gap between exercise and medicine. It has been her dream to merge wellness and fitness with healthcare. Keeping to her dream, Lina became a Registered Medical Assistant. Her RMA certificate is from William Paterson University.  She is both an AFAA and ACE certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. She is also a certified Health Coach and graduate of The Institute of Integrative Nutrition, as well as a graduate of Drexel University.  Her most recent certification  -  Corrective Exercise Specialist,  is from The BioMechanics Method.

Lina holds certification in Structural Yoga™ and Structural Yoga Therapy™.  She has over 1,500 hundred hours of yoga training, and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500. Lina continues to add new knowledge to her practice, enabling her to offer a wider range of services to her clients. 

Lina has been certified in Pilates Mat and Standing Pilates with the Physical Mind Institute since 2006.  She has also taught many styles and formats of fitness classes.

DONNA

Donna's mind/body Fitness career started about 6 years ago when she decided she needed a creative outlet to blend with her medical background. She became a certified Group Fitness Instructor, through ACE and is also certified in Pilates Mat through the Physical Mind Institute. She holds additional certification in Booty Barre, TRX, and Spin from Mad Dogg Athletics. Donna is also a certified Clinical Aromatherapist.

KAREN

Karen has a background in both mental health and fitness. Working as a psychotherapist for many years, she recognized the important link between our emotional body, spiritual body, and physical body. Her background includes a graduate degree in counseling psychology, certifications as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, health coach, and most recently, yoga teacher. Karen looks forward to working with you to improve overall sense of well-being by addressing the body/mind connection.

ROBYN

Robyn has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 15 years and completed her 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2008. She is currently certified to teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Children's and Pre-Natal Yoga. In January 2019, Robyn completed her Barre Training and enjoys teaching and practicing both yoga and barre.

HEATHER

Heather is an instructor of both group exercise and nutrition. Her teaching specialties include fusion style classes which offers a huge variety to all seeking students. Class specialties include core and flexibility strengthening, as well as Zumba and toning. Heather is also a Registered Dietitian and has helped countless clients change their eating habits and overall lifestyles to bring them toward optimal health. Her background and passion for both fitness and nutrition is the perfect fusion to help clients obtain overall wellness.
