5 THINGS TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT OUR MIND

The roots of Yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra come from the quest for our true selves. Ultimately, this all boils down to one thing LOVE. It is a quest for understanding how to LIVE AND HOW TO LOVE.

These are some brutal truths that we need to understand in order to free us from being a slave to our minds.

AVOIDANCE comes in many forms. We are masters at playing this game. Avoidance feels good in the moment, because we dodged a bullet. We got out of answering a question or facing a conflict. EVERY time we avoid discomfort, we strengthen our fear, shame, procrastination or resentment. WHAT YOU AVOID COMPLETELY CONTROLS YOU.

HEALING AND GROWTH require us to stand up to avoidance and discomfort.

IDENTITY isn't set in stone. It is created from our habits, beliefs and stories that we play on repeat. We mold our identity by what …

Yoga and The MIND

I'm sharing this because it's directly related to the teachings of LLWS. Over and over, we give things fancy names and new titles. The next thing you know, it's the latest craz..and we are all trying this, and trying that. In the end, we have to ask ourselves, "What am I doing?" Sure, there's lots of nice things to read and do, but are they getting us where we want to go?

Maybe we don't want to go anywhere? We certainly don't have to go anywhere.

How we want to live is totally up to us.

He wanted to sue the owner of the house. So he went to court. The owner was called in as well. The owner said that the day the thief tried to climb up the ladder, a subcontractor had just put in the new window and it was probably due to the man putting in the window in such a way that it didn’t quite fit properly, and that’s why the ladder slipped.

So they ended that court session and the contractor was sought. They found the contractor…

Old Eastern Words Vs. Modern "Trendy" Words

The Wellness market continues to explode. Yet, how is it that our health on all levels, mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually...etc...continues to struggle? Stop and think about that for a moment. With all that's out there, why are we in the state of health that we are in? Interesting to think about.

Everyone is chasing the latest, new breathing technique, the fanciest yoga pose, the best detox plan, mindfulness, gut health, self-care, self-love, nervous system regulation...on and on and on. It's endless! There is so much out there.

Where are we finding these things?

What are we doing with them?

How are we using them?

What are we looking for?
