TANTRA TEACHINGS ~ Virtual Event
Hi Everyone,
The topic of Tantra has come up so many times in our circle. I've danced around... if, when, and how to teach it. I've been asked to teach tantra for a long time, but I didn't want to go there.
Why? Well, it's not a easy thing to teach, and not an easy thing to understand, and tantra is NOT for everyone.
Many people already have pre-conceived ideas about tantra, and they are looking for someone to validate what they believe.
So, I shy away from that.
Having pre-conceived ideas about the topic, is already not aligned with it. Tantra is something that calls you. It's not something to seek.
We have to always remember:
THE VERY THING THAT CAN SET YOU FREE CAN ALSO BE THE VERY THING THAT ENTAGLES YOU DEEPER.
What does this mean? Here's an example....
Let's take someone who wants to call themselves a TANTRIC. If they are so hung up on the title, and the desire to be recognized as that, that energetic constriction could obstruct the person's ability to melt into the deep teachings. They will process it on a more surface level, because they are mentally attached to an outcome, or recognition or story. This can be a slippery slope for many.
Does this make sense?
Tantra is the art of moving from gross to subtle in the most refined way. It's not about becoming anything, or achieving anything. It's just the opposite. Tantra is an ancient art of self embodiment. It requires deep humility.
See how subtle this is. It's the deeper layer of MERGING THE MIND WITH THE HEART. Our Yoga and THE MIND series is a definite outline for getting into the deeper layers where tantra becomes alive.
I can go on and on, but I don't want to confuse or overload anyone. Just processing this is enough.

My plan is to lay down a solid foundation with as much practicality as possible. If it's not understood it can't be integrated into your being. This is just an introduction. We need a formal starting point.
