About
Health Coaching is a unique art. In this private program, we will work to establish your goals, and we will also come up with a plan to achieve those goals.
What is a Health & Wellness Coach?
A health & Wellness coach is a supportive part of our medical paradigm. We do not diagnose, label, or give advice. We don't suggest "fixes." We honor your starting point and partner with you, as you navigate through your unique transformational journey.
This is a collaborative relationship with an individual, or group, interested in enhancing their well-being through self-directed lasting changes, aligned with their core values. The coach reveres the fact the client is an expert on one's own life and we are the support role. We assist clients in activating internal strengths, while tapping into external resources to make sustainable and healthy lifestyle behavior changes. All interactions are professional, respectful, non-judgmental and confidential.
What is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach?
National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWCs) are credentialed members of the healthcare industry who serve as behavior change agents and are trained to the highest standard in the profession, which means that they have the skills and knowledge to walk alongside you on your path to your healthiest self.
NBHWC's engage individuals and groups in client-centered processes that facilitate and empower clients to develop and achieve self-determined, health and wellness goals.
Training:

Why work with a Health Coach?
People work with health coaches to help them with a variety of health issues such as:
weight loss
stress reduction
anxiety
managing chronic conditions
overloaded schedules which lead to lifestyle imbalances
burnout
support with addictive behavior
lack of sleep...etc.
Health coaches understand that relationships, career, social activity, exercise, and spirituality are just as important to your health as the food that you eat.
